This option is where you can find your web statistics information, as well as your logs (they work together).
1. From the control panel, click the "Web Statistics" link.
2. Click the Graphical Statistics analyzer option.
3. This will display a form. The form has options, which are:
- Access log file to analyze: This is the path to the log file that needs to be graphed. By default, it is set to your access_log file, which is specifically for your main site.
- List requests by: Your options are either by file, or directory.
- Show: You can show the logs by either the top 10, 50 or all hits.
4. The graphical analyzer displays stats in the following areas.
- Log file length (from date started (or last cleared) to current date)
- Total number of physical hits (each hit symbolizes individuals accesses to your web page, graphics, etc.)
- Total number of data transferred in the logging time period (in megabytes) and bar chart graphing of
Hourly Transmission Statistics (stats on transmissions each hour), Daily Transmission Statistics (stats on transmissions each day), Web Agents (stats on the types and percentage of browsers that viewed your site).
