POP email accounts for your virtual host domain name accounts will have to be done by you with your control panel, or by your virtual host if they have a
vpanel. Remember, since virtual hosts share your IP address and server space, they also share any usernames you set up in your control panel for POP accounts or aliases. To setup a POP email account for a Virtual Host, you can simply do the following:
Enter the cpanel
Find the "Add Accounts-pop/ftp" option under the "Manage Email Services" drop down menu, and click the "GO" button.
Add a user for your customer. Give them whatever password and username they wish to have.
Provide your customer with the username and password. If they are a Virtual Host, then their incoming and outgoing mail server for their POP email program would be their domain name. (i.e.
virtual-domain.com, NOT smtp.virtual-domain.com or pop.virtual-domain.com).
If usernames begin to conflict, then you will need to create "Advanced email for Virtual Hosts."
