How do I modify a POP or FTP account?

Answer
|
- From the control panel, find the option "Manage Email Services."
- Select the "Modify Accounts-pop/ftp" option and click the "GO" button.
- Input the username you wish to modify or you can click on "Display List" and have all users put into a drop down box. Once you have made your selection, or entered the username, click on "Modify the user."
- The next screen will have the ability to change the following:
- current password (if left alone, then the password will not be changed),
- change the "Real Name" field, which is optional,
- change the path for the user (or home directory),
- or change the services allowed for that user (i.e. POP, FTP, or Both).
- Change what you wish, then click on "Modify the user." The changes you have made take effect immediately.
