You can setup a Guestbook from the Control Panel. You can setup the guestbook for your main account, and also for any virtual hosts, if you are a reseller. Here are the steps to do so.
1. From the control panel, click "Create a Guestbook" link, either on the Reseller Information side, or the User Information side.
2. Enter the Domain name you want the guestbook setup under.
3. If you want email sent to you when someone adds to your guestbook select "Y" and enter the email address you want it sent to. If "N" is selected, then no email address is required.
4. Click "Add the Guestbook" and the Guestbook will be added to the site.
5. If you receive an error stating "Error can not find Script Alias for cgi-bin," then go back to the cpanel and create a cgi-bin for the virtual host that you are setting up the Guestbook for.
6. If you receive an error stating "Error Document Root /www/htdocs/something, does not exist," then the virtual host's Document Root from the httpd.conf file does not exist. Ensure that the virtual host has been added to your server, and that your account reflects the addition.
All other errors report to Customer Service.
